Questionable Ethics Found In McCain FEC Report?

Researching the payees inside the latest quarter’s FEC filings for John McCain reveals a $4600.00 payment to the Curt and Shonda Schilling Foundation. This strikes me as ethically questionable since Curt Schilling was shadowing John McCain all over New Hampshire campaigning for him. I’m curious if Schilling would have done that without this donation to his wife’s foundation?

Sure, it’s a decent charitable organization, but this just confirms for me the questions I’ve been holding about McCain being just another typical politician, my friend.

To be fair, a legitimate explanation would be that the foundation donated $4600 to the McCain campaign and this is the reimbursement of that donation. The amount of the donation suggests that to be the case, but who knows these days.
