Here is Ron Paul discussing the the Federal Reserve and responding to recent Ben Bernanke statements that run counter to Ron Paul’s economics. Ron Paul doesn’t mince words. I believe he mentions the word “fraud” at least 3 times.
In this interview Judge Napolitano (always a favorite of mine) promotes his book “A Nation Of Sheep” and in the end endorses Ron Paul without actually saying he endorses Ron Paul. It is a great interview and worth your time. It is in 3 parts.
There are many theories being argued about across the airwaves of talk radio, on the screens of TV news, and on the Internet about why conservatives are backing John McCain. I wonder why they are backing Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee too. The answer to me is that the sheep are being herded around by the shepherd and the shepherd is the main stream media. Here is an annoying video to illustrate my point.
Blogger “John Armstrong” over at NolanChart.com has written an excellent article that I encourage all to read. The original article is here but I’m pasting it here because it was a bit difficult to read it on that site:
Topic: Presidential Campaign 2008
Is Fox News Killing Reagan Conservatism or Just Ron Paul and Fred Thompson? Did you know that Fox News/News Corp. Execs are among Hillary Clinton’s biggest Contributors?by John Armstrong
(Libertarian)
Reagan Conservatives, before you read this article I want you to know who is writing it. The rest of you can skip to the article that begins after the next paragraph. John Armstrong is just a pseudonym, but if you have a good reason for wanting to know my real name, email me and I will be glad to tell you; I’ll even give you my phone number or meet you for coffee when I’m home or in a town near you. I grew up on a farm in West Tennessee. I now live in Franklin (just south of Nashville) and have become a successful businessperson. I registered Republican in 1996 when I was attending liberal-haven UNC-Chapel Hill so I could vote for Jesse Helms and Bob Dole. I voted for Bush twice. I supported the invasion of Iraq six years ago. I loved Fox News.
But then something happened. I turned off my television and started to educate myself about the issues that Conservatives used to believe in but now only give lip-service to. These are the issues about which Fred himself challenged his opponents during the debates. I found that the Party of Reagan and Helms had become something else entirely different while I was sleeping. The words of a hymn my mom played on the piano of my Southern Baptist home church best describe the last six months of my life during this awakening process. Those word are: “I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see.” I am not a nutjob for Ron Paul. I am just like most of you; or at least like what you raised your sons to be.
